Izanagi And Izanami Powers & Its Effects

Izanami and Izanagi both are powerful visual jutsus that can be performed through the use of sharingan. Although, they both are quite powerful, they come with a special price, an eye. The use of any of the above jutsu renders the casting eye blind for the rest of their life*.


By using Izanami user can forced target to accept the reality.  In Izanami user make an illusion that will continuously tell the victim to take a closer look at what they did and accept their mistake.  It not used often for enemies but for those who distract from their path and become evil. The jutsu gets released only when they accept their mistake and return to the path of light.



1.  After targeted by izanami victim stands motionlessly and slowly emerged with illusion of his past events. The events are in reality, just memories of the caster which change slightly through each iteration but yielding the same result everytime.

2.  The more victim try to force himself to come out the more he go into depth of illusion and force experience to memorized sensation.

Izanagi is a technique that can be performed only by those who descended from the “Sage of Six Paths”. The Uchiha clan casts it through the use of their Sharingan, as they were descendants of the Sage through the Indra branch. It is oftenly used in bad accidental experience ( Death or Hurt ). For such a powerful jutsu, this sure comes at a heavy price. The loss of eyesight.


1.  With izanagi user can heal himself to break the boundaries between reality and illusion.

2. Thus the Jutsu, enables the user to make “Reality” into an “Illusion”.

Additional Facts : According to Shinto religion, Izanagi’s spouse is Izanami. Izanagi is also the original wielder of Totsuka no Tsurugi which was later acclaimed by Jiraiya (Not Jiraiya Sensei). Also, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo are all children of Izanagi.
